What to do with a three-day weekend. Well, I have been fairly busy with school recently so when I had a three-day weekend this weekend I was excited. We did want to get some rest so we didn't want to do too much (and our trip to France is coming up) but we wanted to get away a a little (and we didn't do much for Ash turning 24 a couple of weeks ago) so we took the train down to London. It was actually an American -themed weekend. We ate at a wonderful American style steakhouse on Friday night and then ate at an American style diner on Sat for lunch. We were really close to doing barbeque but didn't end up doing it (maybe next time). The bbq place sounded really good it was called Arkansas bbq or something so salubrious as that.

Ashley's Birthday
I am now 26 years old. I tried to stop adding years past 24, but I can't lie, I am 26. I believe that I am trying to stop my aging because I love this phase of life with Jordan and want it to last! I received 26 red roses, a tradition my father has with his daughters, Ally, Kasey, me and now Kelley. And, Melanie sent me a birthday 'cake' of a hershey bar, complete with a candle. I have to say, it was a weird birthday, as no one I know (besides Jordan) has known me for even a year. Jordan had class so I went to dinner with my friend Jessica; unfortunately, I foolishly ordered fish cakes and couldn't eat them!
